‘Arriving at Pod e is an experience, as you meander along the low straw coloured plains and glimpse towards the hill and the striking architecture of the pods.
The location on elevated farmland with extensive views North and South of ocean, sand dunes , cliffs and farmland is breathtaking.
The pods are a work of fine design and loads of thought embracing luxury and finishes worthy of a 6 star hotel.Our stay was comfortable and exhilarating thanks to the quiet location and home comforts.We had a cool temperature first night which gave us an excuse to flash up the fire keeping the pod warm the whole night. The next couple of days were 30’C and the cross flow ventilation and fans worked a treat keeping a mild temperature in the pod at all times.
We would love to return one day in the future to further explore the region and be spoilt staying at the pod-e' – Martyn & Wendy
If I had to use one word to describe Pod-e, it would be perfection!
The accommodation truly has that wow factor when you arrive, being in the most stunning location just 20 minutes from Streaky Bay. One bedroom overlooks a headland and local surf break, whilst the other has you waking up to white dunes in the distance. Magic!
The stand out features for our family was the outdoor shower that has the most incredible views, and the thoughtful welcome gifts from local suppliers.
We spent the day exploring stunning nearby beaches using the complementary snorkels, picnic rugs and games - they supply everything you need and more. Fully equipped kitchen is an understatement & beds are very comfortable.

‘Who knew living off grid could feel this good? We went stressed and left floating on a cloud! We had a fantastic luxurious stay at Pod-e - Mulla Mulla.
Every detail has been considered and exquisitely executed. Streaky Bay is only a short drive away but there is no need to leave - it’s all there! We had an adventure on the complementary electric bikes, dinner on the deck overlooking the surf, a bath watching the dusty dunes, and bed watching all the stars in the Milky Way.
Pod-e is gorgeous, sustainability conscious with generous spaces to feel inspired. It’s so quiet you’ll feel like the only people left on the planet. Planning our next visit already.’

We had the most luxurious stay at Pod[e] to celebrate my birthday. After 4 nights we didn’t want to leave!
Arriving at the pod is an impressive off grid set-up, with solar, water storage, and a serious intention for sustainable living. Inside the pod, two enormous windows, one looking north, one south, each capturing the incredible landscape, beaches and surf breaks beyond. The glass is gloriously high, which means you can watch the stars from bed once the sun has gone down. You feel like you could just sit and look out the bedroom window for days. You are surrounded by serene country life, with grazing sheep, natural sand dunes, native bush land and the occasional kangaroo or lizard.
This place has everything you want in a getaway - it oozes relaxation and generosity, with super comfy beds, full kitchen (including excellent coffee machine), luxury bathroom with a large bath, games, e bikes, wildlife, space, quiet. Pod[e] has definitely focussed on offering quality details and special touches in every single aspect.
